Here’s the deal—I know it sounds easy, but it’s actually a bit hard to find a way to contact Facebook Customer Support. Whatever issue comes up with your fan page, you’d think contacting support would be intuitive, easy to find on your homepage, right? Wrong. You definitely won’t find the contact form by googling “Facebook Fan Page support”…trust me, I’ve tried.
For simple tasks and questions you can always use the Facebook Help Center which is full of tutorials and answers.
However, if you need an actual Facebook representative to take a look at your Fan Page issue (sudden drop or loss of followers, merging accounts, verifying an account, tech issues, etc.) you’ll need to go to the Facebook Business Center.
In the upper right corner of the page you’ll see a “Get Help” button.
Click on that and it will take you to a page where you can get to the contact form. In the middle of the page, you’ll see a “Contact Us For Help” option, which you should follow.
Once you’ve followed this option, you’ll be taken to the contact form.
Select the issue that is happening with your Fan Page and follow the instructions. Facebook usually says they’ll get back to you in 1 business day, but in my experience, it’s actually more like 2-3 days. However, it’s still a timely response keeping in mind the ticket traffic they are probably getting.
Make sure that you explain the problem you’re experiencing very clearly in order to facilitate the support agent; if you can include screenshots, go ahead and do that. Sometimes you’ll have to insist and write various messages before you get a solution for your problem.
In case you’re spending thousands/millions of $$$ or €€€ (or whatever your currency) on Facebook ads, you can request and will be given a personal assistant agent whom you can contact directly through email at any time, and he/she will attend your case personally.
I hope this shortcut helped you get in touch with Facebook and resolve your Fan Page problem 🙂 If you don’t know about the existence of the Facebook Business Center, it’s very hard and time-consuming to find it!
